Sales Account Executive – NYC/CT/NJ
General Job Description:
Sales rep for the Metro New York area to search for new business opportunities and generate sales for Richard Schultz Design products and other lines that home office directs as part of the selling arrangement.
Responsibilities:
• Follow up on leads and provide Corporate Sales Manager with lead conversions, close rates and time to close.
• Move sales through the sales pipeline so that prospects become qualified leads and qualified leads become closed sales.
• Introduce and offer new product offerings to existing clients.
• Coordinate design and architectural firms’ visits to our corporate offices/factory.
• Work with home office to build our outside sales program throughout the Metro NY area with the purpose to build relationships and ultimately make sales.
• Contact trade professionals in design and architectural firms to make appointments to meet to show our lines of furniture.
• Meet with trade professionals to show our lines of furniture and register them as having an up to date binder as well as price list.
• Identify new and upcoming projects in order to meet with the trade firms responsible and to make the sale.
• Call on firms that already have our materials to ensure sure they have the most up-to-date catalogs, price lists, and are aware of new product introductions.
Qualifications
• 5+ Years experience selling to the trades or selling high-end merchandise.
• Attentive to detail.
• Driven to be a top-performer in a sales organization.
• Great communication and follow up skills.
